Cancel and deprovision your VirtualPNI between your own resources

This guide explains how to cancel and deprovision a VirtualPNI whose both endpoints belong to your account — removing the whole service together with all of its configurations.

Before you start

  • Deprovisioning is immediate and cannot be undone. Traffic is interrupted while provisioning completes.
  • Important: If you wish to cancel your service only without an immediate deprovisioning, DO NOT follow this guide. In this case contact your sales representative directly at: sales@de-cix.net.
  • Billing continues until the end of your contract term, regardless of deprovisioning.
  • If your VirtualPNI is connected to a Cloud ROUTER, remove the Cloud ROUTER configuration first — it is not removed automatically.
  • Cancellation and deprovisioning apply only to this VirtualPNI. Related services and any commercial bundle (for example, InterconnectionFLEX) must be cancelled separately.

Steps

  1. Log in to our portal and click on the Services tab.
  2. Locate the service you want to delete. Use the filtering option on the right to narrow your search.
  1. Open the VirtualPNI from the Services modal via Edit and go to Deprovision.
  1. Read the terms carefully — they cover immediate deprovisioning, billing until the end of the contract term, the bundle-service exclusion, and (if shown) the Cloud ROUTER note.
  1. Click Proceed to confirm.
Please note: The VirtualPNI and all of its related configurations are deprovisioned and are no longer available for use. You'll see confirmation that the cancellation has been submitted, and the service then shows as decommissioned.

You successfully deleted your VirtualPNI service. Note that deprovisioning and cancellation of the service may take a few minutes to complete.
