Follow these steps to create a VirtualPNI connection between an Access and a Cloud ROUTER.

Please note: The provisioning of a connection between a Cloud ROUTER and an Access is done automatically and in real-time.

  1. Login to our portal and click on Add Services either on the dashboard or the Service tab.
  2. Select Add VirtualPNI Service.
  3. Select Cloud ROUTER to Access.
  4. Provide the following information:
    1. Specify the metropolitan areas for both your Access and your Cloud ROUTER.
    2. Optionally provide an external reference (chosen name for your service) and your internal purchase order.
This step is not mandatory but is highly recommended, as it makes organizing and monitoring your services easier.
    3. Select your desired bandwidth via the slider and the desired contract duration.
    4. Click on Next.
  5. Review your order details. Optionally provide an additional adress for order confirmation.
  6. Click on Order.
You succesfully created your VirtualPNI service. Now you need to configure it.
  7. Click on Next.
  8. Configure your VirtualPNI connection.
You can choose to complete this step later if needed. For this purpose, click here.
    1. Select your Access and Cloud ROUTER via the two drop-down menus at the top.
    2. Choose your VLAN type for the access on the left. You can choose between:
      • port
      • qinq
      • dot1q
    3. On the right side, provide the following information:
      1. An External reference (e.g. your ID). This makes organizing and monitoring your services easier.
This time the field is mandatory.
      2. Your Cloud ROUTER IP Network
      3. Your BGP Neighbor IP Adress and your BGP Neighbor ASN
    4. Click on Submit.
The default setting for BFD (Bidirectional forwarding detection) is "yes". We recommend not changing it, as it improves the stability of your connection.
