Overview VirtualPNI

This article provides a brief overview of our VirtualPNI service and its features.

 

VirtualPNI is the DE-CIX Point-to-Point Service.

This service allows you to install one or multiple VLANs on your Access port to connect between end-points within a metro region, between metro regions, or between your on-premise equipment and the DE-CIX Cloud ROUTER in a hybrid-cloud setup.

Service visibility in the portal

Currently, only VirtualPNI services that connect an Access and a Cloud Router are visible under the "Services" tab in the portal.

After requesting a VirtualPNI between two Accesses (which can be done through the portal) , our customer service team will handle your request and get in touch with you. Additionally, our customer service team must handle any changes to or deletions of a VirtualPNI between two Accesses, as you cannot perform these actions through the portal. To request any changes, just get in touch with us. We are happy to help!
