This article provides important guidelines for shipping and returning customer equipment at DE-CIX Frankfurt colocation sites, including the required procedures for international shipments and pickups.
DELIVERY / SHIPPING
- You have to announce all shipments!
- Make sure that the sender is clearly labeled on each package.

If shipping to our Digital Realty sites, use the delivery announcement form to announce the shipment. Otherwise, please inform your shipment to support@de-cix.net in advance.
Digital Realty rejects all deliveries that do not follow this procedure.
For international shipping from outside the EU, our customs number is DE6093469.
Please check with your delivery company if in doubt.
PICKUP / RETURNS
You must arrange a pickup if you want to return your equipment from the colocation.
The data centers do not provide packaging. Your pickup service must bring its own packaging material.
