Delete a DirectCLOUD service for IBM

This article provides a step-by-step guide for deleting your DirectCLOUD service for IBM via our portal.
This article does not cover the deletion of single configurations of the service. To do that, click here.
Prerequisites
To delete a Direct Link, first remove any VPC connections. In the IBM Cloud console, click the Delete icon next to the connection under the Direct Link.
Guide
- Log in to our portal and click on the Services tab.
- Locate the service you want to delete. Use the filtering option on the right to narrow your search.
- Click on the pencil button for editing.
- Click on Cancel & Deprovision.
- Carefully read the displayed information. Type "DELETE" in the provided field and click Proceed.Please note: This step leads to the cancellation and deprovisioning of the service.You successfully deleted your DirectCLOUD service on the DE-CIX side. Note that deprovisioning and cancellation of the service may take a few minutes to complete.
Now you need to confirm the deletion in the IBM Cloud console. - Go to the Direct Link page in the IBM Cloud console.
- Locate and expand the Direct Link connection you want to delete.
- Click Confirm deletion.
You successfully deleted your DirectCLOUD service for IBM.
