Change your GlobePEER service's IP

This article leads you through the process of reverse mapping a domain to the IP for your GlobePEER service.

To use DE-CIX' GlobePEER or GlobePEER Remote you get an IPv4 and an IPv6 address for the selected locations peering LAN. As with all IP addresses, you can reverse map a domain name to these IPs.

 

To choose a name for reverse mapping, please keep the following rules in mind:

Guide

  1. Visit our portal and select your desired GlobePEER service from the Services page.
  2. Click on the pencil button for editing.
  3. Click again on edit.
  4. Enter reverse mappings in the IPv4 addresses and IPv6 addresses text field.
  5. Click on Submit.

You successfully changed your GlobePEER service’s IP reverse mapping.
