To use DE-CIX' Globe Peer or Globe Peer Remote you get an IPv4 and an IPv6 address for the selected locations peering LAN. As with all IP addresses, a domain name can be reverse-mapped to these IPs.
To choose a name for reverse-mapping, please keep the following rules in mind:
The name has to be a valid hostname. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hostname
The domain has to be assigned to you. Please do not use non-existing domain names.
To enter reverse-mappings for your IP addresses do the following:
Select a Peering service from the Services page and click on the pencil button
Click again on edit
Enter reverse mappings in the "IPv4 addresses" and "IPv6 addresses" text field.
Click on "Submit"
